The Murano SUV sold by Nissan in the United States is scheduled to undergo a full model change at the end of 2024 and be released as a 2025 model. There are currently no plans for it to be released in Japan. The third-generation Murano currently on sale was released on December 5, 2014. A full 10 years have passed since then, and the new model is finally coming out, attracting attention. Development of the new Murano is already underway overseas, and it has been spotted on test drives. Photos of camouflaged test vehicles, known as spy shots, are also circulating.
What kind of model will the new Murano be? Below is a summary of the information we currently know. We will explain in detail what kind of model it will be.
Nissan Murano Fully redesigned 2025 model exterior
The exterior starts with a V-motion grille, which is different from the digital V-motion grille used on recent Nissan vehicles, and features horizontal daytime running LEDs seamlessly integrated into a large black area surrounding the grille, similar to the new Kicks . The sides are less sculpted than before, but have a sportier coupe shape that is visually linked to the rear glass. At the rear, the uniquely shaped LED taillights blend seamlessly with the black trim.
