New RS 3: Overwhelming exterior design

The new RS 3 has an immediately arresting sporty appearance: The bold hexagonal Singleframe grille at the front, along with the vertical side air intakes and a full-width front splitter, emphasise the car’s low centre of gravity and dynamic character.

The headlights feature an evolved daytime running light design, with a 24-element digital signature resembling a checkered flag, and a new function has been added: in combination with the matrix LED headlights, three different daytime running light designs can be selected via the MMI touch display.

The rear design also exudes a powerful motorsport-inspired presence, with a large RS-specific diffuser and oval tailpipe trims, as well as new graphics for the taillights.

New RS 3 sophisticated interior

The interior is unified in dark tones throughout, creating a sporty atmosphere. The newly designed steering wheel is flat at the top and bottom, providing a firm grip even during sharp cornering. The optional RS bucket seats provide excellent support and hold the driver in place.

Additionally, new lighting features, effect paint and the use of carbon fiber create a perfect blend of luxury and sportiness.

New RS 3: Powerful 5-cylinder engine and outstanding driving performance

At the heart of the RS 3 is the legendary 2.5 TFSI engine with 294 kW (400 PS) and maximum torque of 500 Nm, which enables the RS 3 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in an astonishing 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 km/h.

Particularly noteworthy is the unique 1-2-4-5-3 firing order, which results in a unique engine sound that is further enhanced by the twin RS exhaust system with variable flap control and which excites the driver.

New RS 3: Improved vehicle dynamics

The new RS 3 now has significantly improved cornering ability: the interplay between the torque splitter with fully variable torque distribution between the rear wheels, the electronic stability control, brake torque vectoring and the RS sports suspension with adaptive dampers all contribute to an unprecedented level of vehicle dynamics.

This improved performance was evidenced by a new record-setting lap time on the Nürburgring Nordschleife: Audi Sport racing driver Frank Stippler recorded a lap time of 7 minutes 33.123 seconds, beating the previous class record by more than five seconds.

The new RS 3: an experience for the senses

The new RS 3 offers a holistic experience that not only satisfies the senses of sight, sound, touch, but also the sense of smell. The pleasant aroma of materials such as high-quality leather and polymers is a hallmark of premium car quality. Audi rigorously analyzes and evaluates all of its more than 200 interior components in pursuit of the highest quality “new car smell.”

A word from the editorial department

The Audi RS 3 is not just a compact sports car. It is a true “work of art” that combines a driving experience that stimulates the senses with the fastest driving performance in its class. The new RS 3 embodies the passion and innovation of Audi Sport and invites drivers into a new world of driving. Please come and experience its evolved sportiness and dynamism.
