About Mira e:S
Daihatsu released a fully redesigned Mira e:S on May 9, 2017. It uses a D monocoque (lightweight, highly rigid body). The new Tanto/Tanto Custom was released with minor changes on November 30, 2016. The Smart Assist III, which was first installed on the Tanto, will also be installed on the Mira e:S. It uses the world’s smallest stereo camera, with a left-right camera spacing of 80mm. It is pedestrian-compatible and has an expanded operating speed range compared to previous models. It is equipped with two corner sensors on the front and rear of the vehicle.
The weight has been further reduced by approximately 80 kg (old model 730 kg → maximum 650 kg). Exterior parts such as the front fender, back door, and C-pillar garnish are made of plastic to reduce weight, and the transmission and engine have been improved. The JC08 mode fuel economy of 35.2 km/L is unchanged from the old model, but the actual fuel economy has been improved.
LED headlamps and LED taillamps are standard on the G “SAIII” and X “SAIII”. Eco power generation control, eco idling stop before stopping, scroll type air conditioner compressor
“Seat heater (driver’s seat/passenger seat)” is an exclusive feature for the G “SAIII”
