Team SDA Engineering BRZ CNF Concept
The BRZ CNF Concept is a racing car based on the commercially available BRZ and equipped with an internal combustion engine that uses carbon-neutral fuel. Starting in the 2022 season, the car will compete in the Super Taikyu Series, with the aim of realizing a carbon-neutral society by utilizing knowledge gained in the field of motorsports.

By adopting a ram pressure intake system, the BRZ CNF Concept achieves a maximum output of 281 PS and a maximum torque of 310 Nm while maintaining the smooth output characteristics of a naturally aspirated engine, while also ensuring the reliability required for endurance races.

Through the development of the BRZ CNF Concept, Subaru is promoting its motorsports-driven initiative in “making ever-better cars,” while also actively promoting its environmental initiatives, such as the use of carbon-neutral fuels.
At the Subaru booth at CEATEC 2024, in addition to the display of the BRZ CNF Concept, you can learn about Subaru’s latest technologies and initiatives, including an introduction to the location information system “what3words” and “SUBARU Lab,” which is working on the development of EyeSight x AI, and the driving app “SUBAROAD.”
